Face to Face Safe Ministry Training
Note: Both Essentials and Refresher are also available as online courses. Details here.
Safe Ministry Essentials (4.5 hours) | For those who have not completed any training.
Safe Ministry Refresher (2.5 hours) | For those who need to refresh their training.
Please note: Safe Ministry training can contain content that may cause distress. It includes discussion of topics such as child abuse, family and domestic violence, abuse of power and bullying.
Please contact the Safe Ministry Team (PSU) if this training may cause concern.
Our training is endorsed by the Safe Churches Training Agreement (SCTA)
Important Note: If you are under 18 years of age, we do not recommend you access the Safe Ministry Essentials or Refresher courses without the knowledge and consent of your parent/guardian, as some of the content may be confronting.
Evaluation Form: If you have recently completed face to face training at one of our events, please complete the evaluation form to provide us with helpful feedback.
All courses are run by the Professional Standards Unit (PSU) of the Diocese.

Safe Ministry Essentials $50 for Sydney Anglicans* | $60 for Other Denominations
Safe Ministry Refresher $25 for Sydney Anglicans* | $30 for Other Denominations
*Subsidised cost for Sydney Anglicans by the Anglican Diocese of Sydney.
Registration and payment must be made online no later than 24 hrs prior to the event.
Payment can be made by Visa, Mastercard or PayPal.
Please note: direct deposit and cash on the day are no longer accepted as forms of payment.
The cost covers training, resources and refreshments on the day (lunch is not provided).
